Su Xueyun, Ph.D. in Special Education, is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor serving as the Associate Dean of the China Research Institute of Care and Education of Infants and Young Children in East China Normal University (ECNU). She also holds key roles including Standing Council Member of the Early Childhood Education Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Education.She has long been dedicated to research in preschool inclusive education, early intervention, and child development, exerting profound influence in both educational theory and practice. She leads the preschool component of the "China Inclusive Education Promotion - Teacher Professional Capacity Enhancement Project" jointly initiated by the Ministry of Education and UNICEF, and has overseen more than 20 research projects, including those funded by the National Social Science Fund. As the lead developer of the CHILD+ assessment system and the principal investigator for the Chinese adaptation of the AEPS-3, she has significantly advanced the standardization of early childhood assessment and intervention in China. She is the author of numerous influential works, including "Education and Development of Gifted Children" and "Early Intervention for Infants and Toddlers," and has published over 60 academic papers. Her research provides critical scholarly support for inclusive education policies and practices.
