About me
Haley has seven years of experience working in the field of education with a focus in special education and early childhood education. Early in her career, Haley discovered the power in advocacy through education, which has become her driving passion. In addition to working in schools, she has dedicated her time to volunteering with nonprofits such as Helping Education, Literacy Alliance, and Girls on the Run through coaching or research. Haley joined UNC Horizons Program in 2024 and is the director of their Child Development Center. In addition to providing quality education, Haley's leadership approach emphasizes trauma-informed classrooms, accessible early intervention services, and building safe and trusting bonds with the children and families they serve.
